How did we get started?  Jen had Sam in February, 2005 and he quickly outgrew the name brand front-carrier.  She looked around everywhere in Seattle but couldn't find a hip carrier that she and Sam were both happy with.  Since Sam wasn't getting any lighter (thankfully!), Jen turned to researching online, where she found Ellaroo. 

Since then, Jen and Sam have been happily (and comfortably!) walking Greenlake here in Seattle 3-5 times/week.  (That's 3 miles!)
